The Sunday of the Jubilee weekend was pouring down with rain and it was looking unlikely that many street party’s would be going ahead judging by the number of enquiries that we had to turn away at the last minute due to the sheer volume of marquee demand. Luckily, Great Denham Parish Council got their booking in early and both of our marquees were put up on the morning of their community event.
Despite the awful weather, Great Denham residents could see from their windows that they would be sheltered from the rain by the marquees and braved the downpour with hoods up and umbrellas out until they were safely under the cover of our tents.
250 Great Denham residents and their family and friends made it along to the community event and it looks like they had a brilliant time from these photos of the day.
I received a lovely testimonial from Great Denham Parish Council thanking Marquees With Pryde for saving the day which would otherwise have been a complete washout. I’m so glad I could help and that the day was such a success!
